Missing from the MSNBC afternoon line-up of late is Cenk Ugyar and I really miss his commentary.  I wondered what happened, so I did some checking.  Well, it appears he “offended Washington” … that “they” didn’t like his tone.  Here’s an example of his ‘tone’ on issues:

Frankly, I thought his tone was refreshing and engaging.  But apparently MSNBC wasn’t really as interested in ‘the ratings’ as they apparently were interested in something else.  Here’s the story, from the horse’s mouth so to speak.  In this video, Cenk Uygur (host of The Young Turks) explains why he turned down a new, significantly larger MSNBC contract after hosting a prime-time show on the network that was beating CNN in the ratings.

So, still think the main stream media is “liberally-biased”? Looks more, to me,  like they’re trying to quash the liberal perspective, and especially the ‘progressive’ perspective.
